And the winner is...

these are the days that you might fill with laughter until you break

I love taking pictures like these.

Most often, this is not how our lives are. They're much more chaotic, messy, serious, fast-moving. Too much reality is bad for you. So I take pictures of the parts I most want to remember - wonderful days of sunshine and exploration, of laughter and love. Happy, happy days.

these are days you'll remember

never before and never since, I promise
will the whole world be warm as this
and as you feel it, you'll know it's true
that you are blessed and lucky
it's true, that you are touched by something
that will grow and bloom in you

these are days you'll remember

That song always chokes me up. Lovely post and beautiful photos. I especially love the pigtails!

Those look like absolutely perfect days. I've been trying to take more photographs so that I can remember my days

Lovely. I really like the end passage.....

These are the kind of photos I like taking too, for that same reason. They don't seem "fake" to me, but they are a little staged. We know what we want to convey so we take the photographs with a bias, but that's okay!

What a great song to accompany this post! I've never before paid so much attention to the lyrics as I did today.

Hey, those buildings look vaguely familiar!;)
Love the look on V's face there.

Um, when did V grow up and get all little girl like?

The pigtails are adorable. And her hair is so shiny and pretty! (I often have envy days of my kid's hair)
